Over the past few weekends I have been slowly dissembling my Model A so that I could remove the body to send out for painting. Today the fenders and the last little bits came off and I had some helpers over to remove it. The body was off the car in 2010, but at that time getting it painted was not within my budget. This year however, it is. The last time we took it off it was heavy for four people. This time I removed the steering column, the emergency brake lever and the gear shifter, which made it way easier to remove. With 6 of us, we simply walked it off backwards and placed it on a roller cart, a friend of mine loaned me. Now all I have to do is roll it around.
