Inside the teletype itself I found a part of a form stamped with Jamestown, NY. Looks like this machine did not move much in its life, as Cherry Creek is not far from Jamestown.
Today my daughter and I went for a short trip across the border to Cherry Creek, NY to pick up a Teletype Model 26 with a Simplex Printer Wiring Module. The owner had found out that I restored another teletype and did not want to see this one go to the dump, so they offered it to me for free. The Simplex Printer Wiring Module came with a Radio Interference Module, Wheatstone relay and 17-B Polar Relay. Also in the lot was a blank telegram form holder.

In 2015, at the Dayton Hamvention, I picked up this Wilesco D6 model steam engine. This more or less sat on a shelf in my garage until I came across a larger steam engine this spring. While researching that one, I discovered that the company that made this one still exists and I was able to order a replacement stack along with fuel, special oil and other parts from Germany. Got my Wilesco steam engine running tonight. discovered that the company still exists and was able to order a replacement along with fuel, special oil and other parts from Germany. It works wonderfully. Finish up cleaning and repainting the steam engine I bought last week. Boy did it clean up nice! Did a test run on compressed air and it ran pretty good, so it should work on steam. Picked up a boiler this week for $50 which hopefully will work for this engine. It is simple, no boiler tubes, just a central smoke stack, so it is not too efficient. Picked up this cool model steam engine at the Barrie Antique Autofest. This is a good sized engine too. About 9 or 10" high with a 4" flywheel. I am not sure the brand, but it is similar to a Stuart 7A.
Got a hold of the same sort of rocket launch pad I had as a kid to launch flying model rockets. Unfortunately the kit came with two bottoms for the hand controller, so I had to make a top half using the 3D printer. Fortunately someone else did the hard work already. It didn't work a 100% as a match to the original part, so I had a friend modify the files until it did match.
