Well it doesn't look good for me to make the Pre-War Antique Car Tour this year. Went by the place that is painting my Model A body and they were closed today. I was hoping to get it before next week so I would have enough time to put Veronica all together again. Alas, it was not to be.

Made up some business cards to hand out at the Maker Festival Toronto. Even created my own logo. The logo is derived from the latest photos of Pluto. Who would have thought that it would be such a cool looking planet.
Finished making up the new floorboards for Veronica. I think that's it for work I can do before the body arrives.
Got a new used manifold for the Model A from my friend Tom who had several hanging around his garage. If you recall, I had discovered I had a crack in mine.
Holy Smokes! Took a ride in a friend's Tesla Model S today. Man, I didn't think cars could accelerate that fast. Instant torque. Haven't felt g-forces like that except on roller coasters. Awesome!!!
Today we did a tour for the Model-A club using the Mini as the lead car (as mine is still under restoration). We had fantastic weather and everyone had a great time. We ended up back at my friend Tom's place for strawberry cake and ice cream. Delicious.
Was working on the Model A chassis, just cleaning it up and doing some routine maintenance when I came across this. A huge crack in my exhaust manifold. No wonder I was still smelling fumes occasionally. Guess I have to visit my buddy and see if he has a spare (I am sure he does).
