After our stay at Craters of the Moon National Park, we checked out the Experimental Breeder Reactor-I (EBR-I) Atomic Museum in Idaho.

Some pictures from Craters of the Moon. Not only was this park cool, it was far from any city, so the sky was gorgeous. I haven't seen the Milky Way so bright like that in years. It was my wife's favourite place on the trip. I spent most of the last two days at Yellowstone National Park. What an amazing place. I was totally blown away by it. Nothing else I have seen on this earth can really compare to the power and majesty of the place. Words fail to do justice to what I seen and felt in this place. Perhaps the best word is the simplest - WOW! It is definitely a place everyone should see at least once in their lives. This is a place that really is best seen in video than in photographs. I only found out about this place in a round about way about a month or two ago. Located in Bozeman, Montana, it claims to be the oldest computer museum still in operation. As we were (more or less) in the area, I thought I would make whatever effort I could to see it. For one thing, there is an Apollo Guidance computer here. Also, many other cool early computers, such as Altair, IMSAI, Commodore PET, 64 etc., SOL, an Apple 1, and lots of other cool stuff. Even my wife really enjoyed the place. I highly recommend it. After spending two nights in Gannonaque, we stopped off in Kingston to check out the Penitentary Museum. This place sure was an eye opener. After that we went to the Wapoos Winery before ending up in Trenton.
Today we toured some of the Thousand Islands including a stop at Heart Island where Boldt Castle is. It is amazing how much restoration work has occurred in recent years. Quite an impressive place.
After our boat tour, Trish and I took Veronica out for a short drive along the Thousand Islands Parkway. What a beautiful drive. By hook and by crook, we made it in time to participate in our club chapter's tour to the Thousand Islands. Here is Veronica parked outside my friends house just before the tour began.
