KIM-1, of course, is a small single-board computer based on MOS 6502 microprocessor released by MOS Technology company in 1976. Designed by Chuck Peddle, it is considered one of the earliest single-board computers and achieved great success in the 1970s.
I have wanted to buy a KIM-1 for years as it is the predecessor to the Commodore PET, but they are hard to find and usually go for quite a lot of money. The PAL-1 is an affordable clone that can give you the look and feel of what the KIM-1 was all about.
The PAL-1 has a serial interface and should be capable (in theory) of hooking up to my ASR-33 teletype. Stay tuned for that.
