Located about 45 minutes east of Toronto, my observatory is only moderately impacted by light pollution. Most of my light pollution woes are in the west. Fortunately the rest of the sky (including the south) is quite good. Despite the urban sprawl in the region, I can still easily see the Milky Way from my site. On exceptionally transparent nights, I can spot things as faint as the Pinwheel Galaxy (M33) without optical aid.
